Waubonsee Community College - Plano Campus
Waubonsee Community College has opened its fourth permanent campus. Located in Plano, Illinois the campus opened for classes in January 2011. The new facility is located on a nine-acre site at Highway 34, west of Eldamain Road near Lake Plano. The new Plano Campus is just one of the many projects undertaken as part of the 2020 College Master Plan. The $13 million building will serve students from Plano, Yorkville, Sandwich, Somonauk and Leland.
The Waubonsee Community College Plano Classroom Building is a stand-alone satellite campus, expanding Waubonsee Community College's main campus in Sugar Grove, Illinois. The 2 story building includes over 33,000 square foot of space and includes classrooms, laboratories, CNA Lab, Biology, Earth Sciences, student study areas, and support space. Full-service admissions, testing, and assessment spaces are also provided.
