Waubonsee Community College - Sugar Grove Campus
This new 47,000 square foot two story Science Center includes a variety of teaching classrooms and laboratory spaces, including chemistry, earth sciences, microbiology, anatomy, physiology and four large lecture halls.
The project includes a state of the art laboratory ventilation and control system, custom designed air handling units and expanded chilled water and hot water heating central plants.
At the completion of the project, the HVAC system underwent an extensive System Demonstration Phase, to assure that each and every piece of equipment was operating exactly as designed. This demonstration, essential in today's increasingly complex buildings, assures that the systems perform correctly and efficiently, and provides a documented checklist which can be referred to throughout the life of the building's operation.
